The Lee County Bar Association (LCBA) has been serving Lee County since 1949. It is more than just a membership organization. Its mission is to "…further the education of its members, to create meaningful interaction among its members, and to inform the community on important legal matters.”
Member Support
LCBA encourages ongoing legal education, strong ethical conduct, and excellence and professionalism for its membership. Members are encouraged to be publicly responsible and to promote the legal system and resources available in Lee County.
Community Support
Lee County residents are served by LCBA through programs such as:
- Free local-interest legal clinics.
- Student programs, including Moot Court, annual Mock Trial competitions, and speakers for the annual Constitution Week.
- LCBA Lawyer Referral Service for those who need legal assistance.
- Community charitable events in which LCBA members can enhance the community.
In 2016, LCBA founded the Lee County Bar Association Foundation as a charitable giving vehicle to make an impact on the needs of Lee County, Florida. Over the last 6 years, the foundation has assisted the community in many ways, one of which is the establishment of scholarships for deserving students.
